While I did love the Sims (before they sucked it up with SecuRom), I found an older DS game that I'm addicted to currently - Lost in Blue.  Can't get those little folks off the dang island!

I haven't had any problems with 'Suckurom' but I've heard that many have. I really don't want to get involved in another major 'time-sucking' game- rather spend all my time on my Simmies!

I decided not to invest in any new PC games when SecuRom hosed my computer.  I'll stick to the older stuff and my little DS.

It's a sad world when a few theives can disrupt an entire industry and millions of legitimate customers.  EA has alienated a lot of people by switching to SecuRom for copy protection.

so if you guys like the sims....is anyone excited about the new Civilization game then?

Agreed, cheats just ruin a game

That particular 'cheat' is for Sims1 if anybody wants to try it. I play Sims2, and that has cheats as well. I'm a big fan of maxmotives myself.

Don't using cheats take some of the fun out of the game?

I play the sims when I can.  I have the complete collection.  I am not sure if this will work for you and if you even want to know but here goes..if you press ctl  and shift and the c button at the same time, you will get a grey box in upper left corner, type in rosebud then hit the enter button, your sim will recieve 1000 dollars in their account.  You can do that over and over up to 100,000,000 i think it is.

 I am a big fan of the Sims. I recently slacked off playing but I couldn't take it anymore. Now I try to fit some Sims time in every day.

I was a Sims Addict until they went to SecuRom.  Since then, I've stopped buying the PC games.  I'm debating trying Sims 2 on Playstation.  Anybody have any input on that?

Sometimes I like to build, sometimes I like to play.I have played since Sims1 also. I had every Ep for Sims1, and now Sims2. (and the stuffpacks) I even play them in my sleep! Yeah- that's sad. I was also a beta tester for TheSimsOnline. It was great fun. I miss it. (The game is going offline 8-1-08)

I love the Sims2! I did not hear about the Sims3 coming out, though... oh boy.

 I love TS2, but not to actually play the game. All of the appeal for me is building and decoating homes, plus recoloring stuff to make my own rooms. 

Yes! I'm a big Sims fan. I've been playing since the Sims1. Sims 2 is awesome because of the generation aspects and way more to do. Sims 3 will be out in 2009 and I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I'm looking for anyone that plays TheSims- 1 or 2- doesn't matter- I love them both! Seeing as it's recently passed the 100 million mark in sales- I figure there must be a BT'er that plays Anyone??? Let's chat about these silly avatars!
