I like it. They usually pay good, too.

I am really indifferent to them.  I doubt I would pay attention to them if I did see them.  I cannot see where given the price of gas that it would be very effective.

Doesn't seem particularly green to me, given the waste of fuel and the vehicle's emissions. With the price of gas so high, probably not an efficient use of advertising budget either (low number of impressions).

I like it. I've seen some very creative ads..they have to be, since they are seen by each viewer for such a short amount of time. It is also not a new concept...I'd much rather companies spend money on billboards (mobile or not) than pop-ups.

The ones around us are not 18 wheelers, they are regular 15-18 ft moving type trucks.  They do not deliver anything, they are specifically for advertising. They are outfitted with the louvers so that the advertising filps to a different ad every so many seconds.  Very effective.  I have a friend who uses this type of advertising and he says it is the best he has ever used.

As long as the truck is going to be driving around anyway to deliver something, I don't care. If they drive it JUST to advertise then I have a problem. Waste of gas a road space.

Doesn't bother me, gives me something to look at on boring trips.

Hey, if you own your own rig & it doesn't bother you getting business, sounds like good money.

I see these trucks in downtown Chicago occassionally.  I think they are silly. Really.  There is already plenty of traffic, why add to it?

I know a lot of people may see the ads, but I have doubts about the effectiveness.  I cannot recall what the ads were for, let alone purchased anything because of them.

considering the pollution and the cost of gas- I think this problem is going to solve itself

I have heard of companies advertising on cars, but haven't heard on large trucks.  I guess it wouldn't surprise me.
