Short because I play piano.

 I like long nails too, but mine don't have the strength to grow that long.  It's a shame-- long nails look really pretty with a coat of polish.

I like average length nails. I had long fake nails put on for my wedding, which  evently started to annoy me.

I like my finger nails short.I can't do anything with long nails so they aren't practical to have.

I like the look of fake nails, but I don't think they would be practical for me. I keep mine fairly short, with a coat of nail hardener on them all the time.

I like long nails (within reason). I usually trim mine if they get too long, and I like to do a french tip, or a vintage polish (with half-moon crests at the nail bed).

I like long nails. I like how pretty they look with nail polish on them. I am a girly girl. My daughter loves nail polish to!When we go shopping we always get a new bottle of polish.

i go through phases, but usually i go back to short everytime!

I have seen some very beautiful nails on some ladies and its so pretty but, I just can't stand anything on my fingers at all like that.  Well, I can use fingernail polish but I have to have my nails short.

Most of the time, i like to keep mine short because I play the violin and it's imposible to play in tune with long finger nails, but for special occasions, i like to get my nails done and have them fairly long for a few weeks. =]

i used to like really long nails because they were essentially my tools for opening bottle caps and other things that needed precision, but now i like them short ever since i started taking violin lessons. i cant stand the feel of them pressing against my pen either!
