What is Boomertowne?
Boomertowne is a small farming community in Iowa, the hustle and electricity of New York City, the hot sweltering summers of the Mississippi Delta, the stunning greenery of Oregon, a peaceful fishing village on the coast of Maine. Boomertowne is every community in America.
Boomertowne is the voice of the largest generation this country has ever produced, all 79 million of us. We are the generation that made our parents cringe. We actually objected to war, we wore strange clothes, listened to loud music, fought against discimination. We had the gaul to question our Government and ask why.
Boomertowne is about information, communication, discussion, games, jokes, and interaction between it's Citizens. Citizens of Boomertowne are all created equal. There is wonderful diversity here, the common thread being that we're all interested in a better life, and a better Country.
The Baby Boomer Generation has given alot to the Country, but we've taken alot as well. It is our responsibility to make sure that we leave this place a better one for our children. Enjoy Boomertowne, participate, speak up, share your opinions, have fun, tell us about your community, and above all, be a good Citizen.
